Follow Your Dreams

10/08/2022

That's the catchphrase of the 21st century meant to ignite your passion so that you can do or be anything you want to be.

What has the archetypes of Jungian and psychosynthesis psychology got to teach us about our dreams? Your dreams are the manifestations of the workings of the unconscious mind. When  dreams start informing you of your present day reality, maybe you need to take notice. Writing a dream journal may be helpful.

I am interested in Celtic Christianity and the lives of saints such as Saint Patrick who had a dream or mystical vision telling him how to escape enslavement when he was captured by pirates and taken to tend sheep  in Ireland.  When he came back  to his home in Roman Britain he had another dream asking him to come back to the very place that enslaved him. If I was Patrick, I would have said, 'Stuff that, no way am I going back to the very place that enslaved me.' Yet he did and history was changed for ever.''

Let's explore the world of dreams together. Ancient cultures did.

"In the last days, God (Divine)  says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams." Whatever, your age, gender, religious orientation (or not) and ethnic origin, the dream world is there to be explored.
